Half burnt body of watchman found in Vadapalani

Chennai, Jul 8: A watchman of a residential apartment in Vadapalani area in the city was found charred to death this morning.

The 70-year-old watchman was found dead in a sitting posture with his body half burnt.

Police were investigating the cause of the death, including whether it was a murder.

The body was taken to the government hospital for post-mortem.
