SSB jawan killed by tiger near Indo-Nepal border

Bettia, Jul 7 (UNI) An SSB jawan was killed by a tiger near the Indo-Nepal border at Bettia of West Champaran district early today.

Sources said when Pramod Kumar Singh went to the adjacent forest to relieve himself, the tiger pounced on him from its hideout and killed him on the spot.

The deceased jawan belonged to Ramgarh village of Ittwa district in Uttar Pradesh.
