President leaves for Mumbai after two-day visit

Tirupati, July 7 (UNI) President Prathiba Devisingh Patil, who was on a two-day visit to Tirumala and Tirupati, left for Mumbai by a IAF this evening.

Mrs Patil was seen off at the Renigunta airport, among others by State Medical Education Minister Galla Arunakumari, TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy, TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary, Tirupati MP Mr Chinta Mohan, Tirupati MLA Venkataramana , Rayalaseema IG Tagore and district officials.

During her two-day visit, the President attended various programmes including inauguration of TTDs diamond jubilee celebrations and participated in the first convocation of the SVIMS, which conferred doctorate on the President.
