Three more bodies of Greyhounds retrieved

Hyderabad, Jul 6: Three more bodies of Greyhound Commandos were today retrieved from the boat which sunk on June 29 in the Balimela reservoir at the Andhra-Orissa Border (AOB) following a Maoist attack.

Police sources said thiry five personnel went missing in the incident. So far, 26 bodies had been recovered.

The bodies were identified as that of Bujjibabu of Kakinada, AVB Reddy of Parigi in Ranga Reddy district and Shekhar from Guntur district.

Meanwhile, the rescue teams were making efforts to recover the capsized boat, lying 50 metre deep in the reservoir. Three hot air balloons were pressed into service to retrive the boat.

Security forces were combing the AOB area to trace the Maoists, who had established their hideouts in the forests.
