BSF officer among 4 killed, 4 others injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 6 (UNI) An Assistant Commandant of Border Security forces (BSF) was among four people killed and an equal number were injured in a road accident at Zojilla on the Srinagar-Leh National highway this afternoon.

Official sources said a BSF vehicle in which assistant commandant Sukhdesh Kumar and his family besides guards were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a deep Gorge at zojilla.

Sources said Mr Kumar and three others, including two children, were killed and four other wounded.

THE BSF control room, when contacted, confirmed, the accident.

However, they said Mr Kumar was killed on the spot and his driver and two guards were injured.

''We could not confirm the full details about the accident as the guards and driver are in serious condition. Details are awaited, they said.
