One killed, 7 injured and 3 houses gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jul 5 (UNI) One person was killed, seven others were injured and three houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said a vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Nabi Dar at Bonigam in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
He was immediately rushed to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences at Soura where he was declared brought dead.
Seven passengers were injured when their vehicle was hit by a tipper at the Hamray National Highway in Baramulla. The injured were admitted to hospital, they added.
They said three houses were gutted in a devastating fire at Noorbagh in the down town city. The cause of the fire was not known.
