Increase in water level dispels fear of water cut
Mumbai, July 5 (UNI) Water level in the lakes in the city and suburbs is gradually increasing with rain intermittently lashing the Metropolis and adjoining areas, dispelling fears of any further water cut.
According to civic officials, the water level in the lakes has increased considerably and the 15 per cent water cut, that has been implemented from July 1, will soon be withdrawn.
Water level in Modak Sagar, Tansa, Tulsi, Vihar and Vaitarna lakes has increased considerably, the officials added.
