SP leaders to convey their approval of N Deal to UNPA today

New Delhi, Jul 4 (UNI) The Samajwadi Party today came out clearly in support of the nuclear deal saying it will convey its approval of the deal to UNPA and was going to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi later in the day.

Mr Mulayam Singh told a TV Channel that he had met Dr Kalam yesterday to know his views on the nuclear deal and he was told that the deal was beneficial for the country.

Now he was going to tell the UNPA that he was satisfied with his talks with Dr Kalam regarding his reservations over the deal, he told NDTV.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leaders are holding a meeting with Ms Gandhi at 10 Janpath ahead of the SP leaders' meeting with her.

On the other hand, the Left is also meeting today to take a final decision on announcing withdrawal of support to the UNPA government.
