Gypsy women rob one kg golden bars from a bus passenger

Ramanathapuram, July 4 (UNI) In a daring daylight crime, two gypsy women robbed one kg of golden bars from a bus passenger here today.

Police sources said K Mohan, a Jewellery shop-owner was travelling from Madurai to Ramanathapuram in a State Transport Corporation(STC) bus. Two gypsy women under the guise of chatting with him robbed the golden bars from his bag.

When the bus reached here, Mr Mohan found the golden bar and the women were missing.

Based on a complaint from the passenger, a case had been registered and efforts were on to trace the gypsy women.
