Canara Bank revises interest rates on domestic term deposits
Bangalore, Jul 4 (UNI) Public sector Canara Bank today made an upward revision of interest rates on Domestic Term Deposits for the period ranging from 91 days to five years and above with effect from tomorrow.
Interest for deposits with a tenor 91 days to 179 days was raised from six to seven per cent, while deposits for 180 days to less than one year has been increased from 7.00 to 8.25 per cent.
The interests has been hiked from 8.25 to 9.50 per cent for deposits one year to less than two years, while that of two years to less than three years would now fetch 8.75 to 9.50 per cent.
The deposits for three years to less than five years had been hiked from 8.50 to 9.00 per cent. For deposits five years and above it would be from 8.50 to 9.00 per cent.
The Bank is also offering 0.50% more for Senior Citizens on the revised rates.
