Call attention period of one hour during Monsoon Session
Kolhapur, July 4 (UNI)Maharashtra Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshvardhan Patil today informed that the calling attention period during the Monsoon Session of the state legislature, commencing from July 16, will be of one hour.
Mr Patil while addressing a press conference here today, said that only three calling attention motions will be allowed during the period.
The Minister informed that a total of ten bills will be tabled during the session for approval, including a financial bill, a taxation bill and others.
The Monsoon Session, he informed, will continue till August 1.
The Parliamentary Working Committee will hold a meeting on July 24, he said.
A ''touch screen'' system would be implemented to ascertain the presence of legislators, Mr Patil informed.
