Three pairs of long distance trains restored

Kolkata, Jul 03(UNI) South-Eastern Railway today announced restoration of three pairs of long distance trains between Howrah and Puri, Howrah and Chennai and Howrah and Koraput following repairing of tracks, damaged in the recent flash floods.

An SER spoeksman said the 2837/2838 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Express started running on normal route via Kharagpur-Bhadrak from both ends during the day while the service of 2841/2842 Howrah-Chennai Coromandel Express would be restored from Howrah tomorrow and from Chennai on July six respectively via Kharagpur-Bhadrak route.

Running of 8005/8006 Howrah-Koraput-Howrah Express would be resumed from July five from both ends, the spokesman said.
