6 killed car-truck collision in Maharashtra
Nashik, Jul 3: Six people were killed in a car-truck collision near Old Adgaon Naka on Mumbai-Agra National Highway here.
The victims, from Ojhar town in the district, were returning to their home town from Nashik in a car, when the accident occurred at around 0100 hrs.
The truck-driver, Yadav Brahmankar (32) resident of Sakoli in Bhandara district, has been arrested by Panchavati police and further investigations are on.
The deceased have been identified as Bhushan Karpe (25), Ganesh Thorat (27), Aasim Shaikh (36), Vishal Bendre (21), Santosh Jadhav (23) and Santosh More (23).
