Newly elected Panchayat members to take oath on July 11

Chandigarh, Jul 2 (UNI) Oath to the newly elected Panchayat members will be administered on July 11 at concerned district headquarter level functions.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Punjab Government said Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will administer oath to the Panchs of Ludhiana district at Ludhiana on July 11 at 1100 hrs.

Oath to the Panchs of Fatehgargh Sahib and Barnala district would be administered by Food and Supply Minister Adesh Partap Singh Kairon and Information and Public Relation Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, respectively at 1500 hrs at concerned district level functions.

Oath will be administered to Panchs of other districts by the Chairman/Minister in-charge of concerned district planning boards on the same day at 1100 hrs, in district level functions.
