Heavy rains likely at some places in Goa, Konkan

Pune, July 2 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Thane, Raigad and Ghat areas during the next 48 hours, according to the weather forecast valid for Maharashtra, excluding Vidarbha, and Goa.

Heavy rains also likely to occur at isolated places in Goa, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg during the same period.

Moderate to rather heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Konkan and Goa and at many places in south Madhya Maharashtra.

Moderate to rather heavy rains are also likely to occur at a few places in north Madhya Maharashtra. Light to moderate rains are likely to occur at a few places in Marathwada.

Outlook: Little change.
