Angelina Jolie checks into hospital

Washington, July 2 : Mum-to-be Angelina Jolie has checked into a French hospital to give birth to her twins.

Nadine Bauer, spokeswoman of Lenval hospital in Nice confirmed the reports and revealed that local ob-gyn Dr Michel Sussman would be in charge of the star's pending delivery, reports E! Online

However, it has yet not been confirmed when the twins are due to arrive.

Bauer said Sussman will be making a statement following the birth, but there is no word yet on when Jolie's twins are due to arrive.

Jolie and Brad Pitt already have one biological daughter together, called Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, who was born in Namibia in 2006.

They are also parents to three adopted kids - sons Maddox and Pax, and daughter Zahara.
