After 8-day strike, inteviews in Kashmir begins, postponed in Jammu
Srinagar, Jul 2 (UNI) After 8-day strike due to which all interviews and marriage ceremonies were postponed, different government department in the Valley published new date for interview for different posts.
However, interviews in Jammu have been postponed for now due to curfew imposed there because of large scale protests against cancellation of 800 kanal forest land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
The District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, in a statement said the interview for the posts of Dental Surgeons on contractual basis shall be conducted in his office on July 7, 2008.
Interview for the post of Anganwari workers of Keller block earlier scheduled for June 26 and 27, 2008 shall now be held on July 8 and 9, 2008.
District Development Commissioner, Kulgam who is also the Chairman of District Health Society has invited applications on contractual basis for the posts of District Programme Manager, District Accounts Manager and Data Assistants to reach his office by July 16, 2008.
According to Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, the interview for the posts of Junior Engineer Electric and Teachers in all districts of Jammu division scheduled for July 3, 2008 has been postponed.
Several marriage ceremonies, which were scheduled to be held between June 23 till July 4, have been cancelled due to strike in the Valley.
