No shortage of fertilisers in Haryana: Hooda
Chandigarh, Jul 1 (UNI) Denying that there is any shortage of fertilisers in Haryana, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said during the current Kharif season, the availability of fertilisers was satisfactory.
''No shortage of fertilisers and other agricultural inputs are being experienced in any part of the Haryana,'' Mr Hooda said today.
He said in spite of the fact that the railway traffic remained disturbed due to disturbance in Rajasthan, the availability of major fertilisers like Urea and DAP had been more than the corresponding period of last Kharif season.
He said the availability of Urea up to June 30 was 4.91 lakh MT as against 4.76 lakh MT during the corresponding period of last kharif season and that of DAP 1.48 lakh MT as against 0.95 lakh MT last year.
