Lilliput to open 275 stores by year end, will invest Rs 75 cr
New Delhi, Jul 1 (UNI) Lilliput Kidswear Ltd, a leading player in the kidswear industry said it will increase its retail presence from the current 165 stores to 275 by year end and will invest Rs 75 crore for the same.
The company which showcased its collection in the India Brand Show recently, said it will launch 1800 new range of clothing in its Autumn-Winter collection.
''We are currently present in 105 cities with 165 total stores and plan to expand to 275 standalone stores and 200 franchisees with a total retail area of 300,000 sq ft by March'09,'' company Managing Director, Sanjeev Narula told UNI.
The company is targeting a turnover of Rs 375 crore in this fiscal with Rs 125 crore coming from exports, he added.
Lilliput Kidswear Ltd incorporated in 1991 has a presence in China, West Asia and Egypt with a turnover of Rs 260 crore in FY07-08. With five production facilities in place in India, the company plans to open 150 stores abroad by 2010-11.
