Valuables looted from MLA's residence

Patna, Jun 29 (UNI) Jewellery and other valuables were looted from the residence of leader of the Congress Legislative Party and former Minister Ashok Ram by armed criminals at Krishna Nagar locality here late last night.

An FIR registered in this connection at Krishna Nagar Police Station said the criminals stormed into the residence of Mr Ram around midnight last night and looted the ornaments and other valuables.

The robbers also attacked MLA's mother when she resisted their loot bid.

Meanwhile, city police superintendent Anwar Hussain said the matter was being investigated and raids were also being carried at possible hide-outs to nab the robbers.
