ULFA denies involvement in bomb blast

Guwahati, Jun 29 (UNI) ULFA denied its involvement in today's Kumarikata bomb blast in which 6 people were killed and 75 others injured.

The publicity wing of the ULFA's 709 battalion told UNI on the phone this evening and said the outfit was not involved in the blast.

Police suspected that the blast was a handiwork of the 709 battalion of ULFA and termed it a revenge attack after the split in the organisation.
