Three killed in jeep accident
Kozhikode, June 29 (UNI) Three persons, including two women, were killed and five others injured, three of them seriously, when the jeep in which they were travelling overturned at Kunhippally in Kozhikode district today.
Police said the accident occurred when the jeep, coming from Mekkunnu, lost control after colliding with a pick-up van.
The deceased were identified as Tajudeen (32), his wife Rehmat (19) and his sister-in-law Afzzat (22).
The injured were admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College and nearby hospitals.
