Moderate earthquake rock Srinagar

Srinagar, Jun 29 (UNI) An earthquake of moderate intensity rocked Srinagar and its adjoining areas tonight forcing people to rush out of their homes.

The tremors, which were felt at about 2044 hrs, lasted few seconds.

However, there was no report of any loss of life or damage to the property.

A weather office spokesman said details about its magnitude and epic centre was being collected.
