Militant hideout busted in J&K; arms, ammunition recovered

Jammu, Jun 29 (UNI) A huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from a militant hideout near Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official spokesman today said.

Troop of 38 Rashtriya Rifles (MADRAS), under the aegis of 13 Sector Romeo Force, recovered a cache at Gai yesterday, Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami said.

The recovery included two .303 rifles, huge quantity of small arms and ammunition, 14 rounds of Pika gun, 12 Chinese hand grenades, besides other war like miscellaneous stores, the spokesman said.
