Rajkumar remanded in CBI custody for 14 days
New Delhi, Jun 28 (UNI) A CBI court today sent Durani's servant Rajkumar to 14-day remand after the central agency sought his custody to unearth the mobile of Aarushi, who was killed on the intervening night of May 15-16.
CBI Special Judge, in the neighbouring Ghaziabad, Sapna Mishra gave the order after the CBI presented its 'case diary' before the court, which stated that Rajkumar had accepted his involvement in the murder and had hidden Aarushi's mobile.
Rajkumar also said, as per the CBI, that he had brought Aarushi's mobile with him after killing her on May 15 and had broken it before hiding it.
The CBI pleaded that it wanted to recover the mobile from Rajkumar's possession, as it was crucial for the investigation and hence wanted his custody.
