Five-year-old child raped in K'taka

Gulbarga, Jun 28 (UNI) In a shocking incident a five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Humnabad town in the district today.

Police said the victim's parents had left the child alone in the house when the accused, identified as Akram Mia(24), committed the crime. After coming to know of the incident the neighboures caught the youth, beat him up and handed him to the police.

The child was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
