Curfew relaxed in MP town
Jabalpur, June 28 (UNI) Curfew was relaxed for four hours today, from 1500 hrs, in the Cantonment Police Station limits here.
The curfew was clamped yesterday in the wake of two groups clashing after an attempt to demolish a flat near a place of worship and a crowd stoning police.
Collector Hariranjan Rao and Superintendent of Police Makrand Deuskar said that 15 people, including five police personnel, were injured. Police lobbed tear gas canisters and used force but in vain leading to clamping of curfew at 1600 hrs yesterday.
