UNI General Manager M K Laul passes away
New Delhi, June 27 (UNI) Mahinder Kumar Laul, General Manager of United News of India (UNI), passed away this morning following a brief illness.
Mr Laul, 52, is survived by his wife, daughter and son.
He was admitted to the Kalra Nursing Home in west Delhi's Kirti Nagar, after complaint of fever and chest congestion on June 24.
The end came at around noon today.
He started his career in journalism with UNI when he joined the news agency in 1981 as editorial trainee and rose to the position of General Manager in 2005.
During his 25 years of service, Mr Lal has worked in different capacities in the editorial and reporting departments.
