Three Bangladesh nationals arrested on Punjab border
Ferozpur, Jun 27 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) today nabbed three Bangladesh nationals while they were trying to sneek across the border to Pakistan.
They were nabbed near Lakheke Uttar, Border Outpost (BOP) in the Fazilka sector in the wee hours, BSF sources here said.
The three identified as Mohammed Sayeed, Abdul Ghali and Abdul Bashar, in their early thirties are residents of Dhaka and had planned to go to Pakistan to earn a livelihood.
They told the BSF that they had paid Rs 10,000 each to a person in Kolkata for 'taking' them to Pakistan. However the Kolkata based person after showing them the border quietly slipped away.
The BSF later handed the three to the Punjab Police for completing the formalities of their arrests.
