Police nab Bru and Dimasa rebels
Aizawl, Jun 27 (UNI) Personnel of CID (special branch) nabbed eight militants belonging to the Bru Liberation Front of Mizoram (BLFM) and Dema Halam Deoga (DHD) here on June 25.
They were produced before the court here today.
The militants were on their way to buy AK-47 rifles at an undisclosed place here and landed in the police trap.
While six of the arrested rebels belonged to the BLFM, the remaining two were cadres of the DHD, a militant group belonging to Dimasa tribes in Assam, police stated.
