One receiveS bullet injury and a dozen others wuonded in clashes
Sriangar, Jun 27 (UNI) One person was injured when security forces fired in the air at Rainawari while elsewhere in the valley a dozen others were wounded in fresh clashes between demonstrators and police.
An eyewitness said security forces fired in the air when a group of processionists were trying to march towards main Rainawari chowk.
A youth received a wound when a stray bullet hit him. He was immediately admitted to nearby Jawahar Lal Nehru hospital from where he was refered to SMHS hospital.
Later, the processionists dispersed after security forces were withdrawn from the area.
A security jawan was injured when he was hit by a stone at Batmaloo.
About a dozen persons were injured at Ganderbal, Batmaloo and other areas.
