MP CM condoles Sam Manekshaw's death
Bhopal, Jun 27 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today condoled the death of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
In his condolence message, Mr Chouhan said passing away of Sam Manekshaw, who was the hero of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, was an irreparable loss to the nation, which would take pride in him for ages to come.
He said the country would remain indebted to the First Field Marshal for giving the country its first decisive victory in a history of thousand years and restoring its self-pride and honour.
He brought laurels to the Indian Army at international level.
Paying tributes to Sam Manekshaw, Mr Chouhan said the Field Marshal was an example of courage, valour, leadership and army skills.
