Kothari Products forms subsidiary in Singapore
New Delhi, Jun 27 (UNI) Kothari Products Ltd today said it has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary ''Kothari Products Singapore Pvt Ltd'' in Singapore.
The principal activities of the subsidiary company, formed on May 21 this year, will be general wholesale trade (including general importers and exporters), business management and consultancy services, a company statement said.
The Board of Drectors of Kothari Products at its meeting held on June 25 had recommended 100 per cent dividend for the financial year 2007-08, subject to approval of the shareholders.
The company is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of pan masala and gutkha. Its flagship brand is Pan Parag.
It was established in 1973 as a partnership firm, incorporated in 1983, and became a public limited company on November 17, 1983.
Kothari has its pan masala and gutkha plants located at Kanpur (UP), Jorhat, (Assam) and Noida (UP) and its beverages plants located at Kanpur (UP), Nadiad (Gujarat) and Thane (Maharashtra).
