Four lakh devotees to witness celestial wedding

Hyderabad, June 27 (UNI) Around four lakh devotees were expected to participate in the Sri Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam ceremony, organised by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), at the Parade grounds here tomorrow.

According to a TTD release here today, the idols of Lord Venkateswara and his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi have been brought from Tirupati to perform the wedding.

The event was aimed at spreading Sanatana Dharma and popularising the basic tenets of peace and religious practices of Hindu Dharma, the release added.
