Five women killed as soil caves in

Deogarh, Jun 27(UNI) Five women died on the spot and as many were injured today when they went inside a tunnel and the soil caved in at Simra village under Sarkh Police station in this district of Jharkhand.

A senior police officer said about 12 women went to dig soil. As they entered the tunnel the soil caved in, he added.

The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
