Five run over in Bihar
Patna, Jun 27(UNI) Five people were run over and killed and six others injured by a speeding vehicle at Kanhaipur village under Mokameh Police Station here last night.
Rural Superintendent of Police U K Sinha said here today that the driver of a SUV lost control over his vehicle and mowed down five people who had gathered for ''kirtan''(special prayer) at the village.
The injured had been admitted to Nazreth Hospital in Mokameh.
The driver of the vehicle managed to flee after the accident.
