Earthquake rocks Andaman Nicobar

Kolkata, Jun 27 (UNI) A tremor measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale rocked Andaman and Nicobar Islands today.

According to initial reports from disaster control room of Port Blair, there had been no report of death, damage and injury so far.

The earthquake was felt prominently at Port Blair, Hut Bay and Middle Andaman at 1710hHRS.

Panic-stricken islanders came out of their houses for safety.
