BJP Lok Sabha list a big joke: Congress

{image-congress symbol_27062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Jun 27: The Congress on Friday, June 27, said the BJP's first list for the Lok Sabha elections, which included the name of its prime ministerial candidate L K Advani, was a ''big joke''. ''After such a big meeting the BJP could announce the names of only six candidates.... It's a big joke,'' Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told reporters.

Mr Ahmed said even without a meeting he could name seven Congress candidates who will surely contest the next Lok Sabha elections. He then mentioned the names of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, Finance Minister P Chidambaram, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi and Commerce Minister Kamal Nath.
