Yes Bank not an advisor to Tourism Ministry

New Delhi, Jun 26 (UNI) Denying the report that the Yes Bank had been appointed as an advisor to the Tourism Ministry, the government today clarified that the bank has only been empanelled by it for undertaking studies, surveys and assignments.

Earlier, it was reported that the private sector bank had been appointed as an advisor to the ministry.

''Empanelment of Yes Bank cannot be equated as their being appointed as advisor,'' the ministry said.
