Tri-services Training Commands Conference held at Shimla

Chandigarh, Jun 26 (UNI) A Tri-Services Training Commands Conference was today held at Headquarters ARTRAC (Army Training Command) at Shimla.

The conference was attended by Lieutenant General JK Mohanty, GOC-in-C, ARTRAC and the Commanders-in-Chief of the training commands of the three services--Vice Admiral Sunil K Damle, FOC-in-C, Southern Naval Command, Kochi and Air Marshal VR Iyer, AOC-in-C, Training Command, Indian Air Force, Bangalore.

A large number of senior officers from Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff and the three services also attended this conference.

During the conference the officers of the three services interacted and deliberated on various issues to promote cooperation between the three services.

Since the three Training Commands are responsible to look after training of their respective services, there were healthy discussions and intimate interaction to promote integration of training between the three services to enhance interoperability.
