Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.73 per USD, 9 paise down
Mumbai, Jun 26 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.73 per unit, 9 paise down from previous day's rate of 42.82 per USD.
The reference rate for Euro was quoted 35 paise higher at Rs 66.97 per unit, against last day's rate of Rs 66.62.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 84.3853 (84.2719) per Pound and Rs 39.53 (39.67) per 100 units respectively, a Reserve Bank of India communique stated.
