Nichiyu Asia launches sales outlet in India
Mumbai, Jun 26: Nichiyu Asia, Japan's leading manufacturer of electric forklift, launched its new sales outlet at CBD Belapur, near here.
Speaking at the launch, Company managing director Tomita Atsuhi said concern for environment is their benchmark. ''In the effort to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, we are witnessing significant innovations such as modal shifts, shared transportation and the introduction of low-emission vehicles,'' he said.
''Nichiyu, the first to develop electric forklift, has begun to develop storage and material handling technology, designed to be environment friendly. By providing energy-saving machinery and equipment that limits carbon dioxide emissions, we are contributing to improved management as well as a healthier environment,'' he added.
A forklift is a small industrial vehicle with a power-operated pronged platform that can be raised and lowered for insertion under a load to be lifted and moved.
