Contract manufacturing soon: Kavveri MD
Bangalore, Jun 26: Kavveri, a telecom product company, will soon commence its contract manufacturing for overseas customers and subsidiaries at the upcoming state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Jigni on the outskirts of the city.
Company Managing Director Shivakumar Reddy told reporters here that the new facility would be operationalised before September. The company in its first quarter has won contracts worth Rs 200 crore, he said and added that it has achieved a consolidated growth of Rs 157.91 crore, compared to 2006-07 which closed at Rs 53.57 crore.
Mr Reddy said Kavveri's ability to produce high performance cost effective antennas to rural markets has resulted in quantum jump in the turnover.
