HP to provide mid-day meal in middle schools from July 1
Shimla, Jun 26 (UNI) The Haryana Government will provide mid-day meal to all students from class 6th to 8th in all government and government - aided middle schools from July 1.
Elementary Education Director Sunil Chaudhary today said the state government had made a provision for Rs 10 crore under this scheme and 150 gram foodgrains per child per working day would be provided from July 1 onwards.
He said that the Government had issued directions to all Deputy Commissioners to ensure successful implementation of this scheme in all 4262 government and government aided middle schools. The scheme would benefit over 3.50 lakh students in the state, Mr Chaudhary added.
