Goa govt to have new education policy
Panaji, Jun 26 (UNI) The Goa government will soon come out with a comprehensive education policy, emphasising on quality education at all levels, free of political interference.
Disclosing this while inaugurating two major developmental projects here today, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat said the authorities were giving finishing touches to the new policy and would declare it in a couple of months.
Efforts are underway to reconstruct 100 schools, identified to be in a bad shape, by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation as the government has accorded top priority to education without discriminating rural areas from urban areas for development, he added.
