Unidentified persons loot truck in MP
Rajgarh, MP, Jun 24: A truck carrying thread worth Rs three lakh, has been looted by two unidentified persons at knifepoint at Agra- Mumbai National Highway in this district, police said today Truck driver Vishwanath Lodhi, who hails from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur district, has lodged a complaint about the incident that occurred on the intervening night of June 21-22.
He said two unidentified persons boarded the truck, forced him and truck cleaner to alight at Jodkiya village and decamped with the truck.
He informed about the incident at nearby Chichauda police station in Guna district. However, since the incident had occurred in Bioara area of Rajgarh district, the case was transferred to Bioara police station.
The truck was heading from Madhya Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh.
In a similar incident, a plywood-laden truck was looted and its driver and cleaner beaten by unidentified miscreants near Bioara in Rajgarh district on the intervening night of June 15-16.
