One killed, 15 injured as roof collapses at cement factory

Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 24 (UNI) One labourer was killed and 15 others seriously injured when the roof of the eighth floor of Deccan Cement factory collapsed near Bhavanipuram at Neredcharla in this district today.

Police said the victims were engaged in laying roof when the accident occurred. The injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital and their condition was stated to be critical.

Rescue teams were removing the debris as police suspect that some more victims could be trapped under the rubble.
