New train between Bilaspur and Pune from July 3

Nagpur, Jun 24 (UNI) A new weekly train between Bilaspur and Pune, will start operating from July 3.

The 2849 Bilaspur-Pune Express would leave Bilaspur every Thursday at 1130 hrs, and pass through Nagpur and Bhusawal, reaching Pune at 0945 hrs, the next day, a railway release said.

The 2850 Pune-Bilaspur Express would leave Pune every Friday at 1740 hrs, and pass through Bhusawal and Nagpur, reaching Bilaspur at 1650 hrs the next day.

The train would have 18 coaches and have halts at Bhatapara, Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar and Daund, the release said.

The days of operation of the 2135/2136 Pune-Nagpur-Pune Express, which runs thrice a week, will be changed from July 3, the release said. The 2135 Pune-Nagpur Express will now leave Pune every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday (instead of the present Monday, Wednesday and Friday), while the 2136 Nagpur-Pune Express will leave Nagpur every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (instead of the present Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), it said.

Among the changes made in the time-table that becomes effective next month is the extension of the 2855/2856 Raipur-Nagpur-Raipur Express upto Bilaspur from July 1. The 2855 Bilaspur-Nagpur Express will leave Bilaspur at 1610 hrs every day, and pass through Raipur (1800/1810) before reaching Nagpur at 2305 hrs the same day. The 2856 Nagpur-Bilaspur Express will leave Nagpur at 0630 hrs daily, and pass through Raipur before reaching Bilaspur at 1330 hrs the same day.

The Ministry of Railways has also proposed a new 'Garib Rath' Express between Nagpur and Pune. The 2113 Pune-Nagpur Garib Rath Express will run from Pune every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, while the 2114 Nagpur-Pune Garib Rath Express will run from Nagpur every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, the release added.

The date of the operation of the service is yet to be finalised.
