TDP demands govt order inquiry into misuse of funds

Hyderabad, Jun 22 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today demanded that the government order inquiry into the misuse of Rs 80 crore in the laying of 26 km road at Krishnapatnam port on the national Highway 5.

Addressing the press here, top official spokesperson and MP M Y Mysoora Reddy pointed out that the two-lane road was turned into four-lane and Rs 86 crore were misused in its construction.

MS Krishnapatnam Port company limited and some Congress leaders have ''misutilised'' the money, he charged.

Mr Reddy accused Congress leaders and Ministers of being involved in corruption practices.
