Two militants, one CRPF personnel die in Srinagar encounter(Update-CRPF)

Srinagar, June 22 : Jammu and Kashmir Police assisted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) killed two militants in an encounter at Chatterhama, which is 25 kilometers away from Srinagar.

Kashmir region Inspector General of Police S. M. Sahai said, "The militants were hiding in a house at Chatterhama."

The encounter started at 7a.m. and continued till 2 p.m.

Sahai also informed that four policemen were injured during the encounter operation and they were admitted to a local hospital and out of whom one died.
